Driver bills on bandwidth: bytes a session moves, metered per megabyte against the workspace’s credits. A plan includes a monthly allowance and a concurrency limit; usage past the allowance draws on purchased credits. A session that moves no bytes costs nothing but holds a concurrency slot until it stops. Bandwidth is 5.00per1,024MB,andaplan′sallowanceisgrantedascreditsatthatrate:5.00 per 1,024 MB, and a plan's allowance is granted as credits at that rate: 5.00 on Free, 50.00onAdvanced,50.00 on Advanced, 250.00 on Scale. Scale’s credits are worth more than its price, which is the volume deal. Included credits expire at the end of the period; purchased credits roll over. Cost control is short sessions, stopped when the job is done. duration on create caps what a forgotten session can cost. Warm browsers in a pool aren’t billed and hold no slot; a browser becomes a billed, counted session when acquired, and the lease timeout caps how long it can be held. Dedicated IPs are the one thing not paid in credits: a subscription line on your card at $5 per address per month. Adding one mid-month is charged right away, prorated; switching off Renews keeps it until the end of the paid month, with no refund. Bandwidth through them is metered like any other session.

Balance

balance_cents can go below zero. network_mb_remaining (allowance left this period) and status (the plan key, for example free) are present on workspace accounts and absent on legacy accounts. Sessions are refused with 402 once the balance is negative and the allowance is gone.

Billing details

GET /v1/account/billing returns everything: orgId; status (legacy for an account not yet on workspace billing); the plan (plan_key, display_name, price_monthly_cents, included_network_mb, overage_millicents_per_mb, concurrent_browsers, max_session_seconds); the current period (start_ms, end_ms, included_network_mb, network_mb_used, network_mb_remaining); the wallet (balance_cents, can be negative, and balance_millicents); and the subscription if there is one (subscription_id, provider, status, current_period_start, current_period_end, cancel_at_period_end). plan, period and subscription are null on a legacy account. Fields ending in _ms and the subscription period bounds are Unix epoch milliseconds.
Use it for usage in your own tooling, or to stop launching before you hit the limit. Amounts are cents; millicents fields are for exact arithmetic (1000 millicents = 1 cent).

Where to change things

Plan changes, credits, auto top-up, invoices and the card on file are under Billing in the dashboard. There’s no API for payments.
